No, and this is the point. They tap the link you send and a page opens with your agreement on it. They answer there. No account, no download, no email address, nothing to sign up for. It costs them nothing and it always will.

That is the moment the app exists for. They can say it is not how they remember it and write their own version. Both versions stay on the record. You decide which one stands, and the history shows that it changed. Nothing is quietly overwritten, and neither account of it is deleted.

No. This is not a contract, we give no legal advice, and we do not verify that anybody is who they say they are. What it gives you is a clear record of what two people said they agreed, when it was written, and when it was answered.

If you need something that stands up in court, get a contract. If you need to remember what the two of you actually said, this is that.

You can ask. Signing is optional and off by default, and when it is on both of you sign, not just them. A signature is bound to the exact wording, so changing the words afterwards stops the old signatures counting toward the new version. More about signatures.

Only the two people in them. That includes us: there is no screen anywhere, for anybody, that lists what individual people agreed to. We keep counts of how many agreements exist, never what any of them say.

A little, on purpose. A nudge the day before, a few hours before, and when it falls due. Then one question a few hours later asking whether it actually happened, because that is the only thing that closes an agreement. Nothing is ever marked done on your behalf.

An agreement nobody has answered yet is yours to delete outright. Once the other person has answered it is partly theirs, so you can remove yourself from it rather than destroy their copy. You can delete your account entirely at any time, from Settings.
